Honoring House Music and its Pioneers

House music is one of America's original art forms, but has not been recognized as such. 2010 marks the silver anniversary of the first House music radio broadcasts in the world on WBMX 107.5 FM, Chicago.

The objective of this cause is to:

1. Rally support for a nomination to the National Endowment for the Arts to have the pioneers of House music recognized.

2. Have Congress issue a resolution declaring House Music one of America's indigenous art forms.

3. Coordinate logistics for a "World Party" featuring simulcasted parties from various venues around the globe.

4. To have a day proclaimed National House Music Day.
